As president of Whitney Communications, Inc. (www.whitcom.com), Scott Whitney draws on his experience as an award-winning Web site developer, multi-instrumental musician, and expertise in training hundreds of sales and marketing personnel on the techniques needed to effectively increase the probability of engagement with their targeted customers.

Before launching Whitney Communications, Scott's most recent position was that of Director of Financial Services & Electronic Commerce Marketing for Compaq Computer Corporation. While at Compaq, his expertise in Internet marketing and presence development earned him an invitation to join Compaq's Web Advisory Board as well as the opportunity to speak on Website design for The Conference Board (producers of the Consumer Confidence Index and Leading Economic Indicators).

Prior to joining Compaq in 1997, Scott was Director of Channel Development for NetFRAME, responsible for developing all Internet and traditional sales tools. Other positions at NetFRAME included Marketing Manager, Sales and VAR Communications.

Previous engagements were in corporate sales positions with Entex Information Services, Now Electronics, USMach Systems, and in the semiconductor services business with Varian Associates. Scott is a veteran of the US Air Force, where he held the rank of Sergeant in electronic warfare/electronic countermeasures.
