CLiCK!

Here you'll find photos from several of the rides I've gone on during the last few months. And while the looks of many of these folks may be a bit suspect, I can vouch that they are all quite friendly!

 November 6, 1999 (Mt. Hamilton)

This was simply a GREAT day! Perfect weather, a great ride, good food, and a terrific group of riders. The group included Scott Whitney (naturally), David Fein, Tom Pansarasa, Marc Schifer, Dave Edsberg, Dave Dove, and Larry Benanti. We started in San Jose, went up the switchbacks over Mt. Hamilton to the Observatory (a ride which is not for the faint of heart), then headed down the mountain, toward Livermore/Pleasanton. MAN, is this a great country or what!?!?!

Yet another day in paradise. With nine folks, on a variety of bikes (cruisers, sports), we took a nice ride from Bruener's in San Jose, down past Watsonville (via Hiway 152), up 1 to Bonny Dunes Rd, then eventually to 9/35 and home. The group included Scott Whitney (hmm..there seems to be a theme here), David Fein and his brother-in-law and another friend, Tom Pansarasa, Marc Schifer, Bob Payne, Rick Eastman, Larry Benanti, and John Martin. BTW, if you want to know where the best pie in the world is, I think I know. . .

 February 19, 2000

FINALLY, the RAIN GIVES US A BREAK!! This ride came together in hours. Tom Pansarasa sent out an email on Friday, 'bout 6PM and by Saturday morning we had eight bikes, with ten people. Riders included myself, Tom, Todd Fedde and his wife, Ricky Eastman, Wallis Scholar, Dave Dove, Roger (?), Bob Payne and his wife Maria. The route was from Breuners, down 17 to Santa Cruz, up 1 to Davenport (lunch) then on to Half Moon Bay, up 92 to 35 south to Alices/Four Corners, continued 35 south to 9 south. It was great getting out again, and especially so with this terrific group of people.
